What to do now

Hero Launching Robot Arm Toy could block a child’s nose and mouth or restrict breathing.

  1. Take it out of the cot or pram now, and put your baby to sleep on their back on a firm, flat surface.
  2. Keep it away from babies and young children.
  3. Contact Hero or the shop you bought it from to arrange the remedy set out in the notice.
  4. If someone has been hurt or the product has failed, report it to Trading Standards through the Citizens Advice consumer service.

Why it matters. Babies cannot move away from something covering their face. Pillows, padded sleeping bags and soft items in the cot are linked to sleep deaths, and that is why many of these products fail UK safety rules.
