Pieminister pies recalled over a labelling error

Labelling error

Pieminister Kitchens is recalling various Pieminister pies as they have been labelled with an incorrect use-by date. The products have been labelled with use-by 24 June 2026 instead of use-by 24 June 2025. The products are therefore not safe to eat beyond their intended use-by of 24 June this year.

What to do now

A mistake on the packaging of Pieminister pies — for example a wrong date or missing instructions — is the reason for this recall.

  1. Compare your pack with the codes and dates listed on this page.
  2. If your pack matches, do not eat it.
  3. Return it to the shop where you bought it for a refund. Shops normally accept recalled food without a receipt.
  4. Look for other packs at home: the recall covers every pack that matches the details below.

Why it matters. Dates, storage and cooking instructions are safety information. A wrong use-by date can mean food is eaten after it has become unsafe, and missing instructions can lead to undercooking.
