Summary
Product recall for Xtone you de le children’s wooden pull along drum car toy, presenting a serious risk of choking and strangulation.
The risk
Multiple small parts can be detached under forces of up to 74N, less than the prescribed minimum limit of 90N. These small parts could be swallowed by a child which presents a serious risk of choking. The product also contained a pull cord with a length of 610mm, in excess of the maximum limit of 300mm, presenting a risk of strangulation. The cord also contains a sphere at the end which could allow the cord to tangle.
This product does not meet the requirements of the Toys (Safety) Regulations 2011.
Action taken
Removal of the listing by the online marketplace (Wish) and recall of the product from end users.
