Summary
Product Safety Report for Louvolite Perfect Fit Roller and Vision Blinds Chain Tidy presenting a risk of strangulation.
The risk
The product presents a risk of strangulation as the chain tidy can detach from the frame due to the poor performance of the adhesive pads. This may lead to the fixed tension system failing and the cord becoming slack. If a young child were to access the cord, they could become entangled in it and restrict their airways, leading to strangulation.
The product does not meet the requirements of the General Product Safety Regulations 2005.
